Generation 1, Chapter 6
Once Peter returned from the future and gave Vallari the Plum Bot, named Optimus Even, he was almost forgiven for his unkind words. Vallari was excited to have someone else do the housework and take care of the baby. It was even better they didn't have to pay for the help either. She had no idea that Peter bought Optimus Even, she assumed that Peter had invented him. She was proud of her nerdy, absent-minded husband; although she secretly thought about how she could exploit this new invention.
Vallari was dissatisfied with her job, and wanted desperately to quit but disliked the idea of losing the money her job brought in. So after considering her options, she devised a plan that included another baby. That way she could be on maternity leave and not work but still make money. The downside to this was gaining weight but it wasn't that difficult to lose once she worked at it. The upside would be with Optimus Even around she wouldn't have to work too hard caring for the babies. She could sit back and relax and dream about the future
Vallari is pregnant with their second child. She is hoping for a girl she could mold in her image, so that she could someday catch herself a rich husband in the future. Although it was her idea to have another child, Vallari was having second thoughts. She really had no desire to be a wife and mother and yet here she was playing the roll of one. Vallari dreamed of being rich. Peter, she was hoping was a means to that end and she secretly planned on taking him for all he was worth; especially after he inherited from his famous Father. She still thought Peter would inherit millions.
Peter meanwhile had no idea she even knew who his parents are, so had never told her about being disinherited by them. She would have been even more upset if she knew that Peter had not only won $125,000 in the lottery but he had donated $50,000 of his winnings to the Future Fund. Peter wanted to be remembered for something other than his scientific advancements and having a legacy statue was one way to accomplish this. The majority of the money he had left over, he put into savings for Adam's and the new baby's college fund. The rest he used in adding on to the house.
As they were preparing for the arrival of the new baby. They were also planning a birthday party for Adam who was almost a toddler.
The night before Adam's toddler birthday party, they welcomed home a baby boy named Brian. Brian was born with the Virtuoso and slob traits.
The next day Peter invited several of his and Vallari's co-workers over to celebrate Adam's toddler birthday but none seemed interested in the actual event. Peter was there cheering him on though, along with Optimus Even.
Adam grew up into an adorable toddler, with his mothers' coloring but thankfully did not have Vallari's squinty eyes. Vallari had decided to put her hair up in the hopes that little hands would keep from pulling it.
Peter enjoyed teaching Adam all the things toddlers need to know. How to talk, walk and reading books to him.
While Peter was spending time with Adam, Optimus Even was caring for Brian. Optimus even took Brian to the Alchemist shop. Optimus needed to get out of the house and everything else was closed.

Awww Optimus is so cute holding the baby, LOL.
ReplyDeleteVallari is scheming even more now, haha, guess I'll just have to see if her plans work. She's going to be so mad if she ever finds out Peter has no inheritance.
Vallari always has a scheme in motion, some are more long term than others. Optimus is great with babies, best invention of the future! LOL Better than nanny's and babysitters at least. Vallari will be more than mad when she finds out!
DeleteVallari is in for a helluva shock when the inheritance comes in! And she sure is going to hate when she discovers the lottery thing! That's what scheming gets ya though! It made me laugh a little when Brian the baby arrived but I'm sure he shall be plenty cute. Love Optimus!
ReplyDeleteThe inheritance may be the breaking point for Vallari and if she finds out about the lottery, well Peter better run because she's not going to be happy. Yeah all Vallari's schemes don't work out the way she wants but it doesn't stop her. Optimus is awesome!
DeleteAwww Optiomus looks so adorable holding the baby. Robot nanny! I so want that expansion....
ReplyDeleteI really liked Optimus and the kids grow up viewing him more of a mother figure than Vallari. Poor Optimus is run ragged watching an infant and a toddler all day long. Peter helps when he's not working but Vallari pretty much does nothing.
DeleteThank you for reading and commenting!
yes that is a adorable sight
ReplyDeleteI like the way he is with the kids - adorable is right!
DeleteOptimus Even. Love the name! Made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for Optimus though! I can't even imagine what Vallari would do if she found out about the lottery and his inheritance. Poor Peter better run for cover.
Optimus is the best nanny a kid could have! Vallari's head would come off and rotate three times if she found out about Peter's lottery winnings. LOL Seriously though Peter would need to run for cover because she would explode.
DeleteOptimus Even...clever lol. Would it be possible for Vallari to sell the idea of the plumbot because it technically isn't invented until the future? I hope peter doesn't let her in on the future secret at all.
ReplyDeleteInteresting thought about Vallari selling the idea of the plumbot but since she doesn't know how he was made it be a little difficult to pass it off as her creation or to bet a patent. Right now she's content to have a slave err I'm mean a helper around the house. Peter has no intention of sharing his secret with Vallari. Right now going to the future is the only place he can go to escape her. LOL
