Generation 1, Chapter 9

It was finally time for Adam's party. Unfortunately no one seems to be paying to much attention, even Adam has more pressing concerns, then blowing out the candles. Poor Peter completely forgot he invited all these people to celebrate Adams birthday and went to bed early. 

Vallari's whereabouts are unknown; although gossip has it she was examining herself in the mirror for wrinkles. She's been feeling old lately.

Adam aged up into a cute little boy, acquiring the lucky trait. Upon aging up, he immediately wanted to discover potions on the chemistry table. He had spent a lot of time watching his Dad mixing chemicals and knew he wanted to be just like him.

Adam was really making progress and must have learned quite a bit from watching his Dad work. He has already successfully discovered one potion and well on his way to discovering the others.

 

Although he was making progress with chemistry. He still made time to play with his invisible friend, Windy. He hoped that he would be able to discover a potion that would bring her to life. But in the meantime it was good to have someone to play with.

The downside to having an invisible friend is that everyone else thinks you're crazy. He especially liked having pillow fights with Windy. Vallari was less than thrilled to see Adam misusing the pillows and told Peter that she thought Adam had something wrong with him. Peter just laughed and said it was just a phase and he would soon out grow it.

Vallari on the other hand was not content to wait and determined to put a stop to this odd behavior. She told Adam that she didn't want him to talk about or tell anyone that Windy was real. That it was foolishness and that he should grow up and act his age.

 

 "But Mom, Windy is real! She's standing right behind you and boy is she mad that you said I couldn't play with her. You should be careful saying things like that, you could hurt Windys' feelings". But no matter what Adam said would convince his mom that Windy was real. Vallari on the other hand was wondering if there was a strain of mental illness in Peter's family that she missed in her research.

 

Adam didn't always play with Windy. He even told Windy to leave him alone. So Windy went back to being a doll. What did she expect, walking in on him in the bathroom? He did need a little privacy. So he filled in his time with playing outside in the snow. First he built an igloo but it wasn't much fun playing by himself.

 

Then he made snow angels. But that just made him cold and damp.



Then he decided to make a snowman. It was entertaining for awhile but he really missed Windy. So he decided he would go and apologize and see if she would come out and play.
