Generation 1, Chapter 48

Peter cam home and found Jean wearing a new black dress and hairstyle.

"Hey sweetheart you're looking good tonight."

"Do you like it?" Jean asked turning in a circle so he could admire her from all angles.

"You're beautiful," Peter said not taking his eyes off her. "Let's go out tonight."

"Really? What about the kids?"

"The kids can take care of themselves," Peter said taking Jean in his arms. "You look too good to just stay in. I want to show off my gorgeous wife."

Blushing with obvious delight, Jean giggled as Peter nuzzled her neck.

After his parents left, Brian found himself moping around the house. He just couldn't understand why he couldn't find someone. If felt like he was the only one who didn't have someone special in their lives. Except for Elliot and he didn't count, he probably still thinks he's going to marry his imaginary friend. Feeling restless Brian attempted to complete his painting he had been working on but his heart just wasn't in it. He went downstairs in search of something to do, anything to keep his mind occupied.

Why was he so different from the rest of the family? Adam was pining away for Windy but Brian noticed how all the girls at school looked at Adam. Any one of them would gladly step in and take Windy's place. Why didn't they look at him that way? What did Adam have that he didn't?

Pacing the pool area, Brian impulsively decided to try out his street art kit. It was somehow liberating to spray a design on the wall but it didn't stop the thoughts that were plaguing him. Even his little sisters were more successful at dating than he was. Corina had two guys she was stringing along and Doloris was committed to Elias. Why them and not him? What was he doing wrong? He soon filled the wall with designs, none were very good so he spent the next few hours cleaning it up.

Meanwhile Peter and Jean were enjoying their night on the town. Peter tried his hand at DJing but soon lost interest when he saw how all the single men were trying to makes on Jean.

"Why did you stop?" Jean asked

"I wanted to dance with my beautiful wife," Peter said swinging her around.

"You were pretty good," Jean smiled "But I'd much rather be dancing with you."

"Baby, I've got moves you haven't seen yet."

"Well, we've got all night. So you better show me what you've got."

Soon they were lost in each others arms and holding each other tight.

"Honey have I told you how much I love you?" Peter whispered in her ear.

"Not today," Jean teased looking deeply into his eyes.

Peter's breath tickled her ears as he whispered "Let me show you."

He kissed her softly on the cheek, forehead before pulling back slightly holding her face lightly in his hands before laying claim to her lips. The kiss was soft and sensual building in passion as it deepened. Jean moaned softly, saying against his lips "Let's go home."

  1. Aww Peter and Jean's night out at the club was awesome. :D I like that they went to a club too, LOL, so fun.

D'awww Brian, he shouldn't be worrying about that stuff now, he's still young, he's got time. I do understand though if he's feeling like the odd one out in the love department.

    1. Peter and Jean needed a date night. They get too busy being parents that sometimes they forget to have fun!
He shouldn't be worried about it but he feels a little left out. Everyone has someone, even his little sisters. He feels like there's something wrong with him when really there isn't.

    1. I feel really bad from Brian. He's so young to feel so isolated. I wish he was real too, he could use some advise;) Thank you - this legacy had a slow start but it's improved as I became more comfortable.
