Generation 1, Chapter 3

Back in the present, Peter started to think more about starting a family then the far flung future. He called Vallari up to see if she would like to come over. Peter was a little embarrassed to show Vallari inside his house. He didn't think it would meet with her approval.

So they spent the night looking at the stars and making out on the grass under the stars. The night ended when both were too tired to continue making magic under the stars.

No matter what Peter was doing, researching or just reading quietly in the park, he couldn't get Vallari off his mind. So he decided to call Vallari and invite her to the summer festival.

Amazingly Vallari said yet despite admitting that although she found Peter to be attractive, he didn't have the qualities (money) that she needed to be really serious about someone. Vallari was determined that the man she married would be rich and rich Peter was not. However despite these obstacles, Peter was determined to win the girl. He knew that one day he would be rich and would be able to satisfy all Vallari's desires for the finer things.

They met at the festival and had a wonderful time. Peter even won the hot dog eating contest. Proving that his head may be full of chemistry and other scientific calculations, he had an empty stomach and two hollow legs!

Peter tried to get Vallari to learn to roller skate with him but she wouldn't risk it. Her career depended upon her staying at her physical best and she didn't want to break her arm and have to wear an ugly cast. That would just ruin her appearance and how would she be able to catch mister right or rather mister right rich man? So Peter took the offered instruction from Imogen Pelly on how to roller skate in the hopes that it would make Vallari jealous.

Whether Peter's ploy to make Vallari jealous worked or not things were definitely heating up between them. Unbeknownst to Peter however, Vallari had been told by several of Peter's co-workers about how good Peter is and how outstanding his work is at the Science Lab and that he was on his way to passing his Father in greatness. Vallari wondered if that meant he would be a rich man someday, so she did some research of her own. She found that Peter's Father was indeed an influential scientist in Bridgeport and was quite wealthy. After finding this out, Vallari thought that Peter would inherit tons of money from his wealthy Father. She considered those millions to be hers and couldn't wait to make her dreams come true.

Vallari was suitably impressed with the upgrades that Peter had made to the house, adding on a bedroom and eat in kitchen. Although she would have preferred more opulent surroundings, she was sure she could make those changes herself over time. She could use some of the items she had already acquired. She had a talent for "acquiring" things that she found or should we say took things she liked. She lived by the motto "losers weepers, finders keeper". Although technically the losers didn't know they lost until they realized it was gone but that didn't stop Vallari from taking things she liked. She preferred to work as little as possible and still have the things she desired!

As these thoughts were running through Vallari's head, Peter was thinking of the right moment to ask Vallari to marry him. Finally he just got down on bended knee and popped the question: "Will you marry me"? Hesitating for a just a moment to analyze the engagement ring, Vallari said "Yes". Peter spent every dime he had to buy the best diamond ring he could find.

  1. Vallari seems like a very patient money hungry girl. LOL. She's willing to wait to make changes of her own to the house instead of demanding them now, and waiting for the inheritance she thinks will come. I like her very different personality you have made up for her. XD Hmm... they're engaged now I wonder if Vallari's patience will run out if Peter doesn't get money quickly enough.

    1. Vallari is a very greedy individual and everything she does is centered around how she can acquire more money. She doesn't know that Peter will not inherit anything from his parents, she just assumes he will. Somehow Peter believes Vallari really loves him because she's willing to marry him knowing he has no money.

  2. Oooh I don't like Allari, Peter deserves some much sweeter than selfish Vallari. I hope he can find someone else before it's too late!

    1. Vallari is a selfish, cold hearted person. I think it may be too late at this stage of the story, Peter eventually finds a sweetheart.

  3. That was a pretty quick engagment! I hope Vallari changes her ways, she seems very selfish and might end up breaking Peter's heart. I hope not!

    1. Peter should slow down and get to know Vallari better before making a commitment to her. But he can be impulsive at times also he's lonely and missing his family. He sees in Vallari a chance to have a family again unfortunately for him he finds out that Vallari is a truly twisted individual.

  5. I think Vallari might be in for an unpleasant surprise. Actually, I think Peter might be too. He thinks she loves him and she thinks he's going to inherit millions from a father who's work he accidentally tried to ruin. Perhaps she should have done a little better job at investigating him and his family. lol!

    1. Vallari has done extensive research into the Van Winkle family. She just didn't bargain on Peter being disinherited. It didn't figure into her plan and what she thinks she knows about the family.
Peter should have slowed down but he's young and in love so he assumes Vallari feels the same way.
They are both going to be in for a few surprises.

    1. I usually let the towns people wear whatever the game creates and Vallari must like this outfit because she wears it a lot. Vallari is so much worse than Jessica you wouldn't believe. Peter doesn't know what's in store for him. He should run now but he won't.
